Gloucestershire, UK, October 8, 2018 – Geode Services, the innovative technology services company, today announced that it is now live on the Crown Commercial Service’s Digital Marketplace in the Digital Outcomes and Specialists 3 web-based framework to assist with the provision of technology and people to drive the success of digital projects in the UK public sector.
Public sector organisations, including agencies and arm’s length bodies, use the Digital Marketplace to find cloud-based services, specialists who can work on digital projects and physical data centre space. Digital Outcomes and Specialists 3 (DOS3) originally opened for applications on 18 July 2018.
The news comes after Geode Services joined G-Cloud 10 (G10), also on the Digital Marketplace, earlier this year to offer cloud technology and support services to the government through the G10 framework.
According to Computer Weekly, the government had set a target of spending 33% of procurement money through the Digital Marketplace with SMEs, including both direct and indirect spend. The frameworks allow buyers to post tenders that relevant suppliers can search and apply for, creating greater efficiencies throughout the process.
In joining the Digital Marketplace, Geode Services will not only help UK public sector customers to simplify the end to end procurement process but also compliment public sector internal teams in delivering agile digital services that are compliant to procurement regulations.
